The sunset was sparking, burning the roofs, and the summer was gone
She wondered what he was trying to run away from
Never expecting tomorrow to come

But he knew the secret staring at houses painted in red
Thousands of people still do not guess they're already dead
He saw in his dream those flashing dispiteous rays
Destroying the city in couple of days

He had to recollect all his remaining courage and nerve
To keep back the truth for that was not what she really deserved
